Sameh El Shazly, President of the Egyptian Diving and Rescue Federation, revealed his great happiness with the wonderful results achieved by the Egyptian team in the World Fin Swimming Championships for adults and juniors in open water, which was held in the city of Marina El Alamein, stressing that the conclusion was "touch" After winning 31 various medals, including 13 gold, 11 silver, and 7 bronze.
Al-Shazly said in his statements after the conclusion of the tournament, “Praise be to God, an unbelievable result. The tournament was on our soil and among our fans, and the male and female players were up to the responsibility. Egyptian sovereignty in the open waters, after the championships of Serbia, France, and then Egypt, continues the series of Egyptian superiority.”
He added, “Relay races have a different joy, because they bring together the entire team. The wonderful performance of Marwan Amrawi and Nada Magdy, as well as Yassin Mohamed and all our heroes and heroines, was impressive and made everyone happy, this collective spirit. It is the secret of success.”
Al-Shazly thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Engineer Yasser Idris, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, saying that their continued support was a strong motivation for all members of the team to achieve this great achievement.
