Saud Saleh, President of the Handball Federation, by acclamation

The Election Committee of the Handball Federation announced that the representative of Shabab Al-Ahly Club, Saud Saleh, won the position of president of the Federation for the new electoral cycle 2024-2025, at the General Assembly meeting, which was held yesterday, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee, in the presence of representatives of 16 clubs who are members of the General Assembly.
The General Assembly was attended by the outgoing president of the federation, Dr. Nabil Muhammad Ashour, the former vice president of the federation, Abdul Salam Rabie, the former secretary of the federation, Nasser Al-Hammadi, and the representative of the Ministry of Sports, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi.
The association began by announcing that Saud Saleh won the presidential seat by acclamation, while the elections resulted in the victory of: Ibrahim Al-Hammadi (13 votes), Muhammad Ali Al-Hammadi (12 votes), Muhammad Hassan Al-Suwaidi (9 votes), and Rahma Ghaleb (8 votes) as members of the Council.
The elections were repeated to settle on the fifth member, after Yasser Al-Naqbi, Omar Al-Zubair, Abdul Salam Bilal and Adnan Al-Matroushi were equal in the number of votes (4 votes), before Yasser Al-Naqbi won the last seat in the re-run with 12 votes, making Omar Al-Zubair the first reserve, and Abdul Salam Bilal the second reserve.
