Microsoft: The UAE’s experience in the field of artificial intelligence is inspiring to the world
Dubai, October 13 / WAM / Amr Kamel, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, confirmed that the company continues to strengthen its investments in the field of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure at the country level.
He confirmed to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, during the activities of the first day of the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition held in Dubai, that the UAE’s experience in the field of artificial intelligence has become inspiring to the world.
He said that the UAE played a pivotal role in supporting the development of artificial intelligence capabilities from infrastructure to practical applications, pointing out that over the past years they have implemented many initiatives in partnership with government agencies and local companies to ensure the effective development and operation of artificial intelligence technologies.
He pointed to the importance of supporting startups and small companies, explaining that Microsoft is working to enable these companies to access markets, and to provide technical and technological support to enhance local innovation.
He added, “Over the past two years, we have witnessed a significant growth in the number of startup companies cooperating with us, thanks to the insightful vision of the UAE government, which contributed to creating an ideal environment to attract investments and develop technological solutions from the UAE to the world.”
