المملكة: On behalf of the Crown Prince, the Minister of Foreign Affairs heads the Kingdom’s delegation at the Sharm El-Sheikh summit

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him -, His Highness participated Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the peace summit held in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip and strengthen efforts to bring peace and stability to the Middle East region.
The summit was held under the joint chairmanship of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, with the participation of a number of leaders and representatives of countries and organizations. International.
Welcoming the agreement
At the beginning of the meeting, they welcomed the agreement reached by the parties to the conflict in the Gaza Strip, and praised the efforts made by the American President, and by the mediating countries: the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Turkey, and emphasized support for all efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
Agreement to end the war in Gaza
At the conclusion of the summit, the presidents and leaders of the United States, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey signed an agreement to end the war in Gaza, in a first step to a comprehensive halt to the war, ensuring the continued flow of aid, completing the exchange of prisoners and hostages, and working on future reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Prince Musab bin Muhammad Al-Farhan, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to The Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh Al-Husseini, the Director General of the Minister’s Office, Walid Al-Smail, and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan, and advisor to the Minister, Muhammad Al-Yahya.
