The Governor of Giza inaugurates the Intermediate and Inpatient Care Unit at October Central Hospital
Al-Naggar: Providing full support to hospitals and monitoring any needs to be met immediately
Engineer Adel Al-Naggar, Governor of Giza, opened the intermediate and inpatient care unit at October Central Hospital, which includes 15 new beds that are added to the hospital’s capacity, which contributes to improving the level of medical services provided. For citizens. The governor confirmed that the state gives the health sector a special priority in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to develop the health system and improve the services provided to citizens, noting that the opening of the new units comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to relieve pressure on care departments and provide distinguished medical service to the people of Giza Governorate.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar pointed to the importance of strengthening cooperation with civil society institutions and civil society associations to support the health sector. And the development of medical services within hospitals, stressing that community partnership represents an essential element in improving the quality of health care and meeting the needs of citizens.
The governor was keen to inspect a number of departments inside the hospital to determine the quality of the therapeutic service provided to patients, as the tour included the main intensive care departments, pediatric intensive care, nurseries, and emergency departments.
The governor was also briefed by the director The Directorate of Health Affairs and the Director of the Hospital are aware of the hospital’s needs for medical equipment and supplies, stressing that the necessary support will be provided to quickly meet these needs, ensuring that the efficiency of the health service provided to the people of the governorate is raised.
The governor concluded his statement by stressing that Giza Governorate pays great attention to the health file within its development plans, as it is one of the basic pillars of building The Egyptian Human, praising the efforts of the medical and administrative staff and hospital workers for their continuous efforts to serve patients and alleviate their suffering, calling for continuing to work in a team spirit to serve citizens and provide an honorable model for the health system in the governorate.
