Movements within Zamalek to resolve the fate of the team’s player during the coming period

The journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour said that the Zamalek club’s football management, headed by sports director John Edward, has begun serious moves in the recent period to market the Palestinian player Omar Faraj in one of the European leagues, in an attempt to benefit from his departure, whether through a short-term loan or a final sale during the coming period.

Al-Ghandour explained, in statements on his program “Stad.” Al-Mehwar said that the White Castle administration is seeking to find a suitable solution for the situation of the player who recently left the technical staff’s accounts, pointing out that the club received some initial communications from intermediaries to try to transfer the player to foreign clubs, but matters have not yet reached the stage of seriousness or official signing.

Al-Ghandour indicated that in the event of the continued absence of official offers, whether from within Egypt Or outside it, the Board of Directors is considering the option of terminating the contract by mutual consent with the player, provided that he receives part of his overdue dues from the club, as part of Zamalek’s efforts to settle the file of non-participating players and reduce the financial burdens on the team.

This comes within a comprehensive plan developed by the Football Administration to restructure the team’s list before the next transfer period, in an attempt to correct The financial and technical conditions within the club, which has been suffering from a severe financial crisis for quite some time.
