The opening of the Egypt International Badminton Championship in its tenth edition with the participation of 28 countries

The opening ceremony of the Egypt International Badminton Championship, in its 10th edition, was held on Tuesday evening, which was held at the Police Sports Federation hall in the school during the period from 14 to 18 October of this year.

The opening show included a display of the flags of the countries and words of welcome to the participating delegations.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashraf Al-Bijrami, Head of the Sports Sector at the Ministry of Sports. Representing the Minister, Major General Ahmed Youssef, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of the General Administration of the Police Sports Federation, Representative Hadia Hosni, President of the Egyptian Badminton Federation and members of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hisham El-Gyoushi, former President of the Federation, a group of members of the House of Representatives, and delegates from the embassies of Malaysia, India and Myanmar.

Representative Hadia Hosni expressed her happiness at the launch The tenth edition of the Egypt International Championship, stressing that the state supports the organization of sporting events greatly during the last period and that the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, pays great attention to the sports sector and works to develop the performance of its athletes, pointing out that the Ministry of Sports, headed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, does not hold back anything from the sports federations in the framework of supporting the players for their qualification plan until the Los Angeles Olympics. 2028.

28 countries are participating in the tournament: "Algeria – Canada – Croatia – Cyprus – Czechia – England – France – Hungary – India – Italy – Luxembourg – Malaysia – Mauritius – Myanmar – Netherlands – Pakistan – Poland – Portugal – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Singapore – Slovakia – Spain – Sweden – Switzerland – Türkiye – United Arab Emirates – Uganda – in addition to Egypt, the host country.
