The Governor of Giza discusses hotel preparations for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, held an expanded meeting with representatives of hotels and the tourism sector to determine the preparations for receiving guests and delegations participating in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, within the framework of the ongoing preparations ahead of the opening scheduled for the first of next November, and to enhance the readiness of logistical and hotel services, in a way that contributes to consolidating Egypt’s position as a global tourist destination.
The Governor confirmed that the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum is considered an important step towards the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum. A global historical event that places the Egyptian state at the forefront of international tourist destinations, stressing the importance of unifying efforts and working in a team spirit to ensure the appropriate appearance of Egypt’s status.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar stressed the necessity of fully preparing tourist hotels in the governorate to receive international delegations, directing the necessity of providing the best services and coordinating efforts with the executive bodies. To secure transportation for guests and provide reception programs appropriate to the importance of the event.
During the meeting, which was attended by the heads of the relevant neighborhoods, facilities and executive bodies, the governor stressed the need to continue raising the efficiency of the main and subsidiary axes leading to the museum and surrounding the hotels, and to coordinate efforts between various parties to provide the highest level of services to visitors, in a way that reflects the cultural and tourism status of Giza Governorate and ensures the sustainability of those efforts.
The governor also directed the heads of staff to provide the highest level of services to visitors. Neighborhoods, in coordination with the Cleaning and Beautification Authority, will follow up on cleaning work, improve the cultural appearance, and raise the efficiency of lighting and landscaping in the streets, while intensifying field follow-up to ensure full readiness before this global event.
In the same context, the governor directed the utility companies to raise the maximum level of preparedness to prevent any interruptions in drinking water or electricity, and to review sanitation compliance and works. Disinfection to prevent any overflows, in order to preserve the quality of services provided to tourist delegations, while providing fixed teams charged with immediately dealing with any emergency malfunctions.
The governor discussed the most prominent challenges facing hotels and the tourism sector, in order to work to avoid them and find radical solutions in coordination with the competent authorities, to raise the level of services provided to guests, stressing the acceleration of the pace of work to ensure proper, civilized manner.
