Khaled Issa.. the lowest rated “White” player in the Qatar match

The national football team’s goalkeeper, Khaled Issa, received the lowest rating among the Al-Abyad players in the decisive match against Qatar, which took place the day before yesterday, and ended with the team losing 1-2 in the qualifying play-off to the 2026 World Cup finals.
According to the FotMob website, which specializes in global statistics for players and clubs, Khaled Issa’s rating was only 4.4 out of 10, making it the lowest among all the national team players in that match.
The national team goalkeeper was subjected to severe criticism on social media, from local fans, as they held him responsible for the loss to Qatar and the loss of the opportunity to qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, due to the grave mistake he committed that caused the second goal scored by Al-Annabi, through his player Pedro Miguel, in the 74th minute, due to his wrong exit from his own goal.
Meanwhile, Khaled Issa scored a special number during his appearance in Oman’s first match in the playoffs, which the site estimated at 7.2, after he made a distinguished save in more than one game that was decisive in directing the result in favor of Al-Abyad, which won 2-1.
More than one substitute player who participated in the second half of the Qatar match received higher ratings than the main players. Fabio Lima received an 8.8 rating, while Sultan Adel, who scored Al-Abyad’s only goal, received a 7.6 rating.
None of the main players excelled at a remarkable level, contrary to what was expected, as the players’ rating ranged between 6 and 6.7, a clear indication of the low rates of players’ bids in the Qatar match, which caused them not to return from Doha with a ticket to the World Cup.
On the other hand, the Asian Football Confederation website highlighted a lengthy report on the match between the UAE and Qatar, in which it confirmed that Al-Anabi obtained the qualification card for the 2026 World Cup finals, while the UAE national team moved to the Asian playoff against the second group of the Iraqi national team, in order to determine the team that qualifies for the global playoff.
The report, published by the Continental Union on its website, confirmed that “Al-Abyad” excelled in the possession rate, at 59%, compared to 41% for Al-Anabi.
The statistics also showed that Al-Abyad’s total shots exceeded 15, including four attempts on goal, while the Qataris shot on seven occasions, including three between the goalposts and the crossbar.
The total number of correct passes for the UAE team reached 346, compared to only 211 for the home team, and Al-Abyad also earned two corners, compared to only one for the Qatari team.
