Prime Minister: Egypt performed its duty with the utmost strength, transparency, honor, wisdom and integrity in the Palestinian issue

– We did not abandon our Palestinian brothers for a single day, despite all the campaigns of smear, denial, and skepticism
This evening, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held the weekly press conference, following the Cabinet meeting, at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity.
The Prime Minister began his speech, By highlighting the most prominent event of this week, which is the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference, he said: I begin my speech with the most prominent event of this week, and I believe it is the most prominent event of the year 2025, which is the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference, which was held under the joint chairmanship of Egypt and the United States of America, and in the presence of a large number of world leaders, with more than 20 male and female leaders who all participated with us to celebrate the signing of this agreement. And Dr. Mustafa Madbouly added, saying: Before reviewing the details of the summit, which had a strong partnership from the United States of America, the sisterly State of Qatar, and Turkey, I would like to emphasize several very important main points that we remember together, amidst all the painful and tragic scenes of war that we all experienced. We suffer from it, and we see its details every day on television and social media. Egypt, with its leadership, its people, its armed forces, all its institutions, and its sober diplomacy, stood to perform its duty with the utmost strength, transparency, honor, wisdom, and integrity in this issue from the first day.
The Prime Minister continued: Our armed forces were standing tall to protect our borders and our national security, and they did not and will not neglect anything. Rights for this country that is dear to all of our hearts, and Egypt has extended a helping hand to our brothers in Palestine with all the strength we can in light of what is available to us in the midst of this inhumane war that was imposed on our brothers in Palestine, and we did not abandon them for a single day, despite all the campaigns of distortion, denial, and skepticism about what Egypt is doing. Egypt has exerted all its efforts with its brothers in Qatar, as well as the United States of America, Turkey, and all other countries in all forums and conferences. International, and Egypt has always focused on presenting the Palestinian issue and the rights of the Palestinian people, and their permanent right to establish their independent state, and we have indeed succeeded, in participating with all our allies and friends, in forming a global opinion full of support and support for the position that Egypt began in this war from the beginning, and there has become a global opinion that has been formed to support the Palestinians and support the idea of an independent Palestinian state, which was clearly demonstrated in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, through frequent Recognition of Palestine by many countries.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly pointed out that during the past period, the Egyptian state, through its various agencies, whether diplomatic or sovereign, conducted long and arduous negotiations to achieve a ceasefire process, whether achieved in the middle of the war, or the final agreement that was crowned with success in the past few days, stressing the clarity of matters for the Egyptian state since the first day of the war with various plans that there were many attempts to pass. With the aim of completely liquidating the Palestinian issue, and displacing the Palestinian brothers from their original homeland under the pretext of the humanitarian conditions they suffer from, as well as the problems and challenges they face, and the necessity of going to other places that guarantee their life and survival, also stressing Egypt’s clear position and rejection of any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian brothers, which means liquidating the Palestinian issue once and for all.
In this regard, the Prime Minister renewed his salute. Appreciation is given by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, saying: “President El-Sisi, from the first day of this crisis, has been the valve of the security of the Egyptian state, with his clear vision and firm position that has not changed one iota in this matter,” adding: “By following the various statements, and all the positions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, we find that they have been the same since the outbreak of the crisis, pointing out that what happened at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference and the agreement that was signed Accordingly, it comes in fulfillment of the various constants that Egypt has called for since the first moment of this crisis.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly drew attention to the word President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, during the activities of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference, during which he affirmed the constants of the Egyptian state, and the right of the Palestinians to establish their independent state, and that all the steps that are being taken on the ground today are a prelude and a foresight to achieve this matter in the near future, God willing.
The Prime Minister indicated that we followed him with pride and honor during the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference, which brings back to Egypt and to all of us that Egypt has always been A pioneer for peace, pointing in this regard to what the President of the Republic indicated during his speech, that Egypt was the first country to take this decision during the seventies, through the late leader Muhammad Anwar Sadat, to move forward with the peace process, adding: Today Egypt is repeating the same issue, not for itself, but for the Palestinian brothers, through cooperation and coordination with a group of brotherly, allied and friendly countries, including the brothers in the State of Qatar, as well as the United States. The United States, the State of Turkey, and various friendly and supportive countries, whose leaders witnessed this important agreement, looking forward to completing the remaining steps following this agreement, which we hope will end the suffering of the Palestinian people.
He added: We all hope that after the ceasefire is established, several steps will begin, and the most prominent of these steps are: Reconstruction, stressing that Egypt will host the conference on reconstruction during the coming period, and that there are still difficult and arduous steps in the negotiation processes, stabilizing the situation on the ground, and moving on to other steps, but we have hope in God Almighty, in addition to the sincerity in this file and the strong negotiation in which the supporting countries participate to make this initiative and agreement a success, and these efforts will be crowned with success, God willing.
Also. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly referred to the allegations against Egypt of not opening its borders to bring in aid, and we have always stressed that the crossing has two directions, although Egypt has control over one direction within the Egyptian borders, but the other direction is not under Egyptian control, pointing out that the most eloquent evidence of this is that immediately after the agreement there was a huge volume of aid trucks entering from the Egyptian side, pointing to the participation of the Minister of Social Solidarity in the press conference, which will It speaks in detail about the aid that has been introduced over the recent period.
The Prime Minister moved his talk to the economic issue, where he explained that during his tour of Qalyubia Governorate, he had referred to the Standard & Poor’s announcement. Increasing and raising Egypt’s credit rating, and moving from level (B-) to (B) with a stable future outlook, pointing out that this is the highest rating the institution has granted to Egypt in seven years, and in the same week, Fitch confirmed On the advanced classification of Egypt with a stable future outlook, and therefore all of this serves as a certificate of appreciation for the reform steps implemented by the state and the Egyptian government during the recent period, which led to the improvement of all economic indicators and became the subject of praise from all over the world.
The Prime Minister concluded his speech by referring to the most prominent findings of the updated report issued by the “International Monetary Fund” Who raised his expectations to increase the growth of the Egyptian economy for the year 2025 from 4% to 4.3%, in addition to his expectations that during the year 2026 the growth of the Egyptian economy will increase to at least 4.5%, in addition to the confirmation of the “World Bank” In this regard, he raised his expectations for the Egyptian economy even further, explaining that all these international institutions concerned with the economy confirm that the Egyptian state is on the right path in the economic reform program.
