Health sciences for Damietta University students: We support young cadres scientifically and practically to prepare them for the labor market

A delegation from the General Syndicate of Health Sciences visited the Faculty of Health Sciences at Horus University in Damietta Governorate, as part of the General Syndicate’s keenness to support educational institutions specialized in the fields of health sciences.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sayed Al-Dabiki, General Syndicate of Health Sciences, and included Dr. Mona Al-Sayed Habib, Secretary-General of the General Syndicate, Dr. Tariq Hilal, President of the Health Sciences Syndicate in Giza, member of the General Syndicate’s Board of Directors, and Dr. Hossam. Ramadan, head of the Health Sciences Syndicate in Damietta.

The union delegation was received by Dr. Al-Saeed Abdel Hadi, President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Noha Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Sherif Al-Qanishi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Horus University, Dr. Alaa Badran, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Dr. Hassan El-Shenawi, Chairman of the Council Secretaries.

The union delegation conducted a field tour inside the college’s laboratories and its various departments, and was briefed on the latest technologies and equipment used in practical training for students, and listened to a detailed explanation from members of the training staff, about the progress of the educational process and the level of academic equipment.

The union delegation also met with a number of college students in an open dialogue, which addressed the importance of integration between academic study and field application, And the role of the union in supporting graduates of faculties of health sciences, and preparing them for the labor market.

Ahmed Al-Dabiki, head of the general union of health sciences, expressed his happiness in meeting with the students of the college of health sciences at Horus University, stressing that the general union pays great attention to supporting young cadres and qualifying them scientifically and practically, in a way that keeps pace with the needs of the health labor market in Egypt and the world. He pointed out that the union is working on constant communication with students of faculties of sciences. Health Sciences in various governorates, to be their true support from the years of study, and even after graduation.

He called on the students to work diligently, excel, and adhere to the ethics of the profession and serve the nation, through honorable health work. He concluded his speech by saying that you are the hope and future of the profession, and how much the message of health sciences continues to protect human health and build modern Egypt.

Mona El-Sayed Habib, Secretary General of the Health Sciences Syndicate, also stressed the importance of awareness. The union among students of colleges of health sciences, pointing out that the union is not only an administrative entity, but a home for every student and graduate who seeks to serve the community and achieve his mission in the health field. She added that the general union always opens its doors to college students, to listen to their opinions and suggestions, and to provide them with the necessary support at all stages of their studies.

Stressing that building a conscious and trained generation is the true guarantee of a renaissance. The health sector in Egypt, and I concluded: We trust in your ability to raise the name of health sciences high, as you are the sons of this country and its ambassadors in the fields of work and giving.

This visit comes within the plan of the General Syndicate for Health Sciences, to enhance communication with colleges of health sciences at the republic level, and exchange academic and practical experiences, in a way that serves the development of the profession and achieves the state’s vision of advancing the health sector and preparing a generation of scientifically qualified competencies. And practically to serve the nation.
