The Film Commission enhances the Kingdom’s presence at the 2025 Lumiere Film Festival
Share With the history of cinema and its heritage, as its activities host the International Classic Film Market, which is one of the most prominent global platforms specialized in preserving, restoring and distributing classic films, with the participation of an elite group of experts, representatives of distribution companies, restoration and digitization laboratories, and owners of cinematic rights from more than 30 countries.
The Kingdom’s efforts in the field of filmmaking
Participation includes a dedicated pavilion within the market to display The Kingdom’s initiatives in preserving, restoring and digitizing films, in addition to displaying restored classic Saudi films to highlight the Kingdom’s efforts in preserving the cultural heritage and transmitting cinematic history to future generations.
Through this participation, the Authority seeks to enhance international cooperation in the fields of archiving and restoration, exchange experiences with the most prominent international institutions and build bridges of cooperation that contribute to the development of the Saudi film sector and consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a destination. Active in the cinematic scene.
