Al-Azhar University scientists are at the forefront of membership in the national committees of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
In confirmation of the excellence of Al-Azhar University scholars in all scientific fields that reflect the value and stature of Al-Azhar University throughout history; A decision was issued by Dr. Gina El-Feki, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, to form national committees affiliated with the Academy.
The decision included in its formation eight elite scientists specialized in the faculties of science, pharmacy, and agriculture at Al-Azhar University in Cairo and the regions for membership in the national committees.
The national committees of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology represent a gathering of elite scientists in every scientific specialty, as the national committees affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology are entrusted with communicating with the corresponding international unions in the precise specialized scientific fields, Representing the Arab Republic of Egypt in the activities of the International Federation and working to attract the agenda of the International Federation’s activities to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The national committees are also specialized in disseminating everything that is current about scientific specialization in the Egyptian scientific community, preparing specialized technical studies, as well as providing technical advice in the field of specialization.
The formation included 8 of the most senior scientific figures in the faculties of Al-Azhar University; They are:
1- Dr. Alaa Gad Al-Karim Mahmoud Othman, Dean of the College of Science for Boys in Assiut, a member of the National Committee for Marine Sciences and Fisheries. Member of the National Mathematics Committee.
4 Dr. Ghalia Asaad Jaber Al-Mawawi, a member of the teaching staff at the College of Science for Girls in Cairo, a member of the National Committee for Pure and Applied Chemistry.
5- Dr. Ahmed Hafez Muhammad Ibrahim, a member of the teaching staff at the College of Science for Boys in Cairo, a member of the National Committee for Astronomy and Space.
6- Dr. Amr Hosni Hassan Hashem, a member of the teaching staff At the Faculty of Science for Boys in Cairo, a member of the National Committee for Biological Sciences. For boys In Cairo, a member of the National Committee for Environmental Sciences and Nature Conservation.
