Cairo Water Week, in its eighth edition, concludes its activities

The activities of Cairo Water Week in its eighth edition, which was held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, were concluded this Thursday evening, entitled “Innovative Solutions to Enhance Climate Resilience and Sustainability of Water Resources,” during the period from October 12 to 16.
The closing activities of Cairo Water Week were attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and a number of ministers, governors, ambassadors, heads of delegations, experts and decision-makers from various countries of the world.
The agenda of Water Week in its eighth edition this year focused on five main axes: cooperation, climate action, innovation, nature-based solutions, and infrastructure.
The total number of international and regional organizations participating in the week reached 95 international organizations, in addition to organizing about 125 sessions within the week’s activities.
