The launch of the 2025 Arab Council for Health Specialties Forum in Amman

The activities of the Arab Council for Health Specialties Forum for the year 2025 were launched today, Thursday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of about 300 doctors and experts from 22 Arab countries, representing health, academic and medical institutions in the Arab world, along with representatives of international health and academic organizations and bodies.
The event began in the presence of the Chairman of the Council’s Supreme Authority. The Arab Board for Health Specialties, the Iraqi Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Hussein Al-Hindawi, representing the Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the Secretary-General of the Arab Board for Health Specialties, Dr. Omar Al-Rawas.
Dr. Adel Adawy, Head of the Executive Office of the Arab Board for Health Specialties, former Minister of Health, stressed the importance of linking the ancient history of Arab medicine And the future of education and modern medical practice, taking into account the accelerating challenges imposed by modern technologies and artificial intelligence in the fields of diagnosis, treatment and training.
Dr. Adawy delivered today during the opening of the Arab Council for Health Specialties Forum for the year 2025 His speech was launched in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and was titled “Forum of the Arab Council for Health Specializations in the Era of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.”

Adawi pointed out that The pioneering contributions of Arab medical scientists such as Ibn Sina, Al-Razi and Al-Zahrawi, who contributed to the establishment of modern scientific medicine, stressing that drawing inspiration from this legacy constitutes a basic basis for developing medical education in the region.
He also touched on the importance of employing modern technology to enhance communication and training between doctors in Arab countries, including remote regions, through innovative digital programs that contribute to developing competencies. Medical.
He added that the Arab Council is working to consolidate the principles of good governance in medical training and qualification, to ensure the optimal use of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in preparing and qualifying Arab doctors to be leaders in medical education and scientific research at the level of the Arab world.
On the sidelines of the third forum of the Arab Council for Health Specialties, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, speakers discussed mechanisms and ways of recruiting Modern technologies and artificial intelligence in developing specialized medical education and training, through a series of specialized discussion sessions.
The speakers in that session, which was titled “The Prospects and Future of Specialized Medical Education in the Era of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence,” discussed It was headed by the head of the Executive Office of the Arab Board for Health Specialties, the former Egyptian Minister of Health Dr. Adel Adawi, presented the promising applications of artificial intelligence and robotics in microsurgery, improving the accuracy of diagnosis and developing treatment plans. They also reviewed the successful experiences of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt in integrating these technologies into curricula and training programmes.
