Al-Ahly youth are considering officially protesting the Japanese “Machida” ruling

A source close to Shabab Al-Ahly Club revealed to “Emirates Al-Youm” that the club’s management is considering submitting an official protest to the Asian Football Confederation, against the referee of its match against Japan’s Machida, which was held in the semi-finals of the AFC Elite Champions League.
This move comes against the backdrop of the controversial arbitration decision to cancel the equalizing goal for the “Knights” in the 92nd minute of the match, a decision that the source considered directly affecting the outcome of the match. Shabab Al-Ahly will demand in its legal memorandum the necessity of replaying the match that ended with the Japanese team winning with a clean goal, based on what it described as a “technical and legal error” committed by the referee.
