Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club, praised the great role played by Yassin Mansour, the candidate for the position of Vice President on his electoral list, stressing that he is one of the most prominent investment men in Egypt and the Arab world, and the owner of advanced economic thought and a strategic vision that represents a strong addition to the future of Al-Ahly Club.
Al-Khatib said: «Yassin Mansour is a lover. For Al-Ahly in every sense of the word, he gave the club a lot without expecting anything in return. I remember when he accompanied me on a trip to Portugal to complete the contract with coach Manuel Jose, he showed great professionalism and great ability to negotiate, and he was a wonderful model of working in the spirit of Al-Ahly and self-denial. Within its walls, they carry administrative thought and a sophisticated culture that made it an honorable face for the club at home and abroad.
Al-Khatib added: «Murtaji agreed in the 2017 elections to run for council membership despite possessing the competence and experience that qualifies him for greater positions, and he proved during his work on the council that he is an effective and influential element. Today, he continues his distinguished role as treasurer, after he succeeded in developing the financial and administrative performance and contributed with his ideas to achieving the boom witnessed in the club’s budget.
