The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with members of the 57th batch of diplomatic attachés during their presence in India

He met Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, with members of the 57th batch of new Egyptian diplomatic attachés, on Friday, October 17, during their presence in New Delhi as part of a training program.

 

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of benefiting from the various training programs organized by The Institute of Diplomatic Studies provides attachments for new diplomats in various countries, including the training program in India, within the framework of the programs organized by the Institute to enhance the skills of new diplomats, to enable them to carry out their responsibilities fully and efficiently, stressing the importance of communicating and exchanging experiences with various diplomatic institutes, which qualifies them to work in the ministry’s sectors and missions. The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of the diplomatic attachés exerting their utmost efforts to serve the nation, and to show perseverance and ambition during their professional careers.

Minister Abdel-Ati stressed the importance of the diplomatic attachés exerting their utmost efforts to serve the nation, and to show perseverance and ambition during their professional careers, addressing the extent of the responsibility placed on the shoulders of Egyptian diplomacy during this delicate stage.

‏‎The Minister of Foreign Affairs also addressed the current regional developments, reviewing the existing Egyptian foreign policy. On the principle of strategic balance, pointing to the intense efforts made by Egypt to establish peace, security and stability in the Middle East and Africa.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs was keen to hold an open dialogue with the new diplomats and listen to their opinions and proposals, stressing the importance that the Ministry attaches to empowering young people and giving them various opportunities to serve national interests.
