The African Cup of Nations Hockey Championship for men and women, currently held in Egypt at the Suez Canal Authority stadiums in Ismailia Governorate, concludes today, Saturday, on Saturday. And fourth.

The Egyptian national team had presented A distinguished performance during his journey in the tournament, as he defeated Ghana 7-3 in the fifth and final round of the first round, after defeating Zambia 8-1, Kenya 2-1, and Nigeria 6-3, and tied with South Africa 3-3. The first is led by South Africa and Egypt with 13 points each, while Nigeria and Kenya occupy third and fourth places with 6 points each.

 

As for the women’s competitions, today the Kenyan national team will meet Nigeria in the third and fourth place match, while the final brings together the South African and Ghanaian national teams at 3:30. In the afternoon.

 

The tournament is of special importance, as it is the twelfth edition of the men’s tournament and the ninth edition of the women’s tournament, and is also a qualifier for the 2026 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands.
