Al-Azhar Boys’ Information College magazine obtains Q1 and first place in the Arab world in the ARCIF 2025 labs

The “Media Research” magazine, issued by the Faculty of Information for Boys at Al-Azhar University, received a Q1 classification according to the impact factor and reference citations of Arab scientific journals “ARCIF”, which includes 32 standards consistent with international standards, and it is the highest category in the media and communication specialty. According to the annual report of Arab journals for the year 2025, the magazine is considered the first in the Arab world in the media sector, and third among the rest of the scientific journals in other specializations.
In this context, Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Wajed Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, expressed his deep thanks to His Excellency Professor Dr. Salama Dawoud, President of Al-Azhar University, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, for the magazine to be ranked first in the Arab world. For their continued support of scientific and research activities at the College of Information.
He also congratulated "Amin" Magazine staff; For their continuous efforts, and the successive successes achieved by the magazine at the level of its counterparts specialized in the field of media, pointing out that the continued success is the result of continuous efforts from the magazine’s current and previous work team, from the founding until today, and the participation and guidance of Egyptian and Arab professors who are arbitrators and members of the advisory board, and researchers who trust the magazine and always send us their certificates that prove Its merit.
It is noteworthy that the Journal of Media Research ranked first in the Arab world in the field of media and third in the level of scientific journals in 2023. It also obtained first place in the Arab world and sixth in the level of specialized journals in the ARCIF Laboratories Report for the year 2024.
