المملكة: “Dhahran Municipality” puts construction under the microscope… It does not tolerate violations
Implemented Dhahran City MunicipalityIntensive field monitoring tours of buildings under construction in various neighborhoods, as part of its ongoing efforts to follow up on compliance with technical requirements and safety standards at work sites, which comes within the municipality’s efforts to enhance field monitoring and ensure the quality of construction work.
The tours carried out by the Technical Control Department included a number of residential and commercial projects, where It was confirmed that the regulatory licenses were in compliance, the presence of project plates, and the contractors’ commitment to building and public safety requirements, in addition to following up on general cleanliness and implementing safety procedures for workers.
As explained The Mayor of the City of DhahranEngineer Faisal bin Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani said that these tours come within the framework of the municipality’s keenness to raise the quality of buildings, improve the urban landscape, and reduce construction violations that may affect the safety of residents or the general appearance of the city.
Technical Notes
Engineer Faisal Al-Qahtani stated that a number of observations were made. Technical and minor violations, and their owners were instructed to quickly address them, while warning notices were issued in some sites that did not adhere to the regulatory controls.
He stressed the continued implementation of field tours periodically, calling on everyone to cooperate and report any construction violations or field observations through the “940” reporting center, in order to reinforce the principle of community partnership in improving Quality of life in the city.
