The Attorney General visits Germany to enhance judicial and parliamentary cooperation

Within the framework of the fruitful partnership between the Egyptian Public Prosecution and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), affiliated with the Ministry of International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Attorney General, Counselor Mohamed Shawqi, made an official visit to Germany, at the head of a high-level delegation of members of the Public Prosecution.

During the visit, the Attorney General met with the Minister of State at the German Ministry of Justice, and the Minister of State at the German Ministry of International Cooperation, And the Public Prosecutor of the City of Berlin, where the meetings discussed ways to enhance judicial and parliamentary cooperation between the two sides, exchange experiences in the fields of training, institutional development, governance, and enhance the efficiency of the performance of the justice system.

The Public Prosecutor stressed during the discussions the Egyptian Public Prosecution’s keenness to support international cooperation frameworks and exchange experiences with the German side, in light of the distinguished relations that unite the two countries.
