"Distribution platform" / A remarkable cultural presence and a renewed vision to support Emirati publishers
Sharjah, 21st October / WAM / “Manasa Distribution” continues its commitment to supporting Emirati publishers and consolidating its position as an effective platform in the Arab cultural scene, through its participation in a number of book fairs, as it participates in the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, during the period from October 26 to November 2.
During the second edition of the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair 2025, it seeks to consolidate its presence by displaying and distributing 275 titles from the most prominent Emirati publications dedicated to children, with the participation of 51 publishers and a total of 493 books, which reflects its keenness to enrich the reading experience of children and enhance their passion for reading and creativity.
The platform also participated in the book fair accompanying the eleventh session of the Grand Arab Prize for the Arabic Novel “Katara,” which was organized on the sidelines of the award during the period from October 13 to 19, by marketing and distributing 565 diverse titles from the latest publications of 79 Emirati publishers, with a total of 2,414 books.
The exhibition included cultural activities, literary sessions, and book signings, which contributed to enhancing the status of the Arabic novel and supporting local authors to deliver their works to a wide audience in the region.
His Excellency Rashid Al-Kous, General Manager of Platform for Distribution, said that the platform’s participation in the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair and Katara Book Fair in Qatar comes within a strategic direction that reflects the platform’s commitment to supporting the UAE publishing industry, empowering publishers, and enhancing the presence of Arabic books and content in regional and international forums.
He explained that the aim of these participations is to open new horizons for cooperation and exchange of experiences, which contributes to building a sustainable cultural system that contributes to disseminating knowledge and consolidating the UAE’s position as an effective center in supporting cultural creativity and innovation.
