المملكة: Targeting 3,000 students… 14 educational corners and workshops at the Vocational Guidance Forum in Mecca

It launched General Administration of Education in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, represented by Educational Affairs – Education Performance Administration, Student Guidance Department, activities of the Vocational Guidance Forum in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), at the King Fahd Exhibition and Conference Hall, with the participation of about 3,000 high school students, both male and female.
The forum is accompanied by an exhibition that includes 14 educational corners and qualitative workshops. It enhances the culture of career guidance and contributes to enabling students to determine their future educational and professional paths with awareness and confidence.
The forum was inaugurated by the Assistant Director General for Educational Affairs in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Jalouq, in the presence of the General Head of the Vocational Guidance and Guidance Program at the Human Resources Development Fund, Engineer Muhammad Al-Muhaisen, the Executive Director of the Fund’s Programs, Ms. Ashwaq Bahha, and a number of educational leaders and representatives of participating entities.
Dr. Al-Jalouq stressed that vocational guidance represents a major axis in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which made the human being the focus and goal of development, explaining that the secondary stage is a turning point in a student’s life that requires precise guidance to help him choose his future path. He added that vocational guidance is not a transient activity, but rather an ongoing educational process that contributes to discovering inclinations, refining skills, and directing energies towards a productive and prosperous future.
Skills acquisition workshops
It also included EventsWorkshops entitled "Your skills" and"How do you introduce yourself?" They discussed CV preparation and personal interview skills, in addition to a visual presentation on the efforts of the Student Guidance Department at Mecca Education.
In his speech, Engineer Muhammad Al-Muhaisen praised the fruitful partnership with Mecca Education, stressing that the forum contributes to educating students about university and technical specializations that are appropriate to the needs of the labor market, and promotes a culture of conscious choice, and contributes to achieving compatibility between education and employment, in support of To build a qualified generation that keeps pace with the requirements of national development.
