The Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia participates in the opening of a workshop "Arab Contractors" To train engineering personnel

The Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia, Ambassador Mayada Essam, and the Zambian Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Charles Milupi, participated in the opening of the workshop organized by the “Arab Contractors” Company. In cooperation with the Zambian Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development to train about 25 engineering cadres in the Ministries of Transport, Infrastructure and Defense.
The workshop comes within the framework of implementing the memorandums of understanding signed between the two sides during the official visit of the Zambian President to Cairo in February 2025.
The Egyptian Ambassador praised the role The pivotal role of the Arab Contractors Company, one of the oldest Egyptian and African companies, in supporting development efforts in Zambia, stressing that this program embodies Egypt’s commitment to enhancing human capacity building as a pillar of sustainable development, and reflects the shared vision of the two countries towards consolidating bilateral relations and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, especially in the field of infrastructure.
For his part, he appreciated The Zambian Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development distinguished partnership with the Arab Contractors Company, stressing that the workshop is a practical step to implement the memorandums of understanding signed between the two sides.
He pointed to the commitment of the Zambian side to implement all its other outcomes, praising the high efficiency of the Egyptian trainers who will contribute to raising the level of performance. Zambian cadres in accordance with the latest international standards in quality and safety.
