An Emirati trade delegation visits Bursa to enhance cooperation in the food sector between the UAE and Turkey
Bursa (Turkey) on October 22nd, WAM/ The UAE Embassy in Ankara, in cooperation with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), organized a visit by an Emirati trade delegation from the food security sector, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the areas of trade and investment in the food sector between the two countries.
The delegation included representatives of the Emirates Franchise Association, the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a number of representatives of Emirati companies and commercial institutions. The Emirati companies held bilateral meetings with about 25 Turkish companies from various food sectors, to discuss opportunities for supply, investment and joint manufacturing.
The visit included field tours to a number of Turkish factories specialized in food industries and organic products, to see production lines and quality standards.
His Excellency Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, stressed that the visit comes within the framework of the close bilateral relations between the two countries, and reflects the UAE’s keenness to expand its economic partnerships and enhance food security and sustainability in cooperation with Turkey, praising the role of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in organizing the program and the positive interaction on the part of the participating companies.
