The Palestinian presidency welcomes Trump’s statements rejecting the annexation policy
The official spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, welcomed US President Donald Trump’s statements to “Time” magazine. America, in which he affirmed his rejection of the annexation policy, and his firm positions towards Israel in this regard, noting that these positions come after his success in forcing Israel to cease fire in the Gaza Strip, which is the demand that President Mahmoud Abbas has called for since the first day of the war.
Abu Rudeina said – According to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” Today is Thursday – “We express our great appreciation for the relationship between President Mahmoud Abbas and President Trump,” which Trump confirmed in his interview with the American magazine.
He added that the Palestinian leadership calls on the American President to continue making more efforts to achieve security and stability in the Middle East region, stressing the State of Palestine’s commitment to international and Arab legitimacy, and to the political positions that President Mahmoud Abbas announced it in his recent speech before the United Nations General Assembly.
