Rosal Youssef.. Love is only for the first lover

The great writer Hamdi Rizk wrote a long article lovingly about Rosa Al-Youssef, published in “Al-Masry Al-Youm”

In which he said: My desertified memory urged me last evening, as I was preparing to attend the centenary celebration of Rosal-Youssef, with words composed by Tayyib al-Zikr «Mamoun El-Shennawy» In the voice of the Eastern Star “Umm Kulthum”: “Years have passed like seconds in my love for you.. and if I could love another woman, I would love you.” (From the song “I Forget You, Oh Peace” composed by the genius of his time, Baligh Hamdi).

Between me and “Rosal Youssef” Deep love, my first home, and my first love, and as the great Arabic poet Abu Tammam said:

« Move your heart wherever you wish from passion

Love is only for the first lover

How many homes on earth does he know? The boy

And his longing forever for the first house»

Yes, it was the first house I stayed in, and the most welcoming house I lived in. Its carpet was wide and its threshold was green, and on its stairs I ascended, and in the embrace of its elders I grew up, and in the company of life-long friends I lived a broad life. She is bound by ambitions and is not hindered by setbacks. We only loved and still love Rosal Youssef because she is our first love.

Rosal Youssef (Fatima Hanem, may God rest her soul) has been credited for generations. She shaped me as a journalist, baptized me professionally, and ever since I became aware…we became aware, and she shaped our awareness when we were young, and she engages with the elite of her writers. She dedicated herself to the battle of enlightenment, on her own initiative, and inspired by what was deep within her heart, she dedicated the pages of her publications to enlightenment, and the river of enlightenment passed through her door. Rosa appointed herself in an advanced position facing the armies of darkness.

Everyone who belonged to or volunteered for the war of ignorance, darkness, and terrorism was taking shelter in her high wall, positioned in Its strong position, and how much Rosal Youssef hosted and opened its pages to staunch fighters, was an example of popular resistance against terrorism, and copies of it were distributed as leaflets among students in schools and universities that were controlled by dark groups that did not care for a homeland, a flag, or an anthem.

RosalYoussef still prays in the sanctuary of the nation, and salutes the flag in the morning. She sings the anthem at sunrise, and fights day and night for the sake of a modern, democratic, civil state.

Rosa Al-Youssef is a good tree of enlightenment, with a firm root and its branches in the sky, an ancient mulberry tree that spreads its shadows over all parts of the nation, defying the blowing winds that blow strong crickets over the castles of the Egyptian press. Resistant.

Despite the wind, the rainy weather and the hurricane, Rosa Youssef will remain, my son. Rosa is not an objectionable sentence in the history of a nation, but rather an enlightening castle, a chaste tree that is still pulsing with life, and throws up the best fruits, and if she had some fresh air, her strength would be restored, her resurrection would take place, and she would once again take center stage. Journalist.

Rosa Al-Youssef will not go to the history museum, as the misguided people say, but rather she is writing history with an ink of light that challenges the darkness.

She has a promising future ahead of her, with trustworthy people, professionals, looking forward to the digital future, and with the availability of a political will that ensures continuity. Journalism has contributed and continues to contribute to the nation’s fateful battles. The unseen may be sweet, but the present is sweeter.

Rose Al-Youssef in particular has not yet lost the means of life. She celebrates life, loves life, was created for life, possesses the elements of life, and lights her second centenary candle with confidence. The step.

Its wealth is ancient magazines whose names are weighed in pure gold, and a school closer to a university whose graduates are full of hearing and sight, and whose writers are the mainstays of the private, television and electronic press.

Rosa Al-Youssef is not a line that can be withdrawn from life into the history books.. Rosal Youssef is one of the signs of the life of this country. She has the journalistic qualifications to return to life, and the return of the spirit is a suitable title for this night, the night of the centenary, the title of the second centenary in the march of the Lady of Arab Journalism.
