Ayad Fields.. One shot revives the spirit of the field in the Opera House

In a new celebration of the spirit of beauty, work and creativity, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, is hosting the forty-seventh exhibition of the One Shot Artists group under the title “Ayad Fields”, which is inspired by the painting “Work in the Field.” By the pioneering artist Ragheb Ayyad, one of the symbols of modern Egyptian art.

The exhibition opens at six in the evening on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Salah Taher Fine Arts Hall, and will continue until Wednesday, November 5, daily from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon, and from four-thirty to eight-thirty in the evening, except for Friday.

 

This exhibition is part of the activities of the Ministry of Culture The exhibition includes 73 paintings by 33 artists from the group, which were the result of an intensive artistic workshop held at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, where the artists were inspired by Ragheb’s painting. Ayyad “Work in the Field”, so that each artist re-formulates it with his own vision, his distinctive technical style, and his aesthetic angle that bears his individual imprint.

 

The works varied between realism, expressionism, and abstraction, combining the spirit of group and the uniqueness of creativity, in a unique experience that confirms that "One Shot" It is not just an artistic idea, but a philosophical vision that believes that collective work can generate a rich diversity of meaning and image.

 

The exhibition is accompanied by a group of free artistic workshops presented by a number of leading visual artists, in an initiative aimed at opening new horizons for young people and those interested in the arts, and involving the public in the creative experience. itself.

 

It is worth noting that the One Shot Group was founded in 2000, and includes an elite group of professional and amateur visual artists, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Jundi, Professor at the College of Fine Arts – Helwan University.

 

The idea of ​​the group came from their belief that art is an integrated collective process, in which society participates as an inspirer, recipient, and taster, so that every “shot” becomes A state of interaction between man and place, between heritage and the present, and between individual vision and collective conscience.

 

Thus, "Ayyad Fields" As a sincere artistic tribute to a great Egyptian artist, and revealing the continuous creative energy that is renewed in the fields of Egyptian art, where a single shot turns into hundreds of visions that plant beauty in memory, sight and conscience.
