885 contestants in the first edition of "Arab Warrior Championship" In Fujairah
Fujairah, October 25 / WAM / The Czech Paul Mardina and the Emirati Obaid Al Nuaimi won the title of the Arab Warrior Championship for the professional and citizen categories in its first edition, which was organized by the Fujairah Adventure Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports today with the participation of 885 contestants of both sexes.
The tournament – which was held at Fujairah Adventure Park and enjoyed a large audience presence – included 3 categories. The first category was allocated to professionals from around the world, in which 27 male and female contestants participated. The second category was allocated to professionals within the country from citizens and other nationalities, in which 108 male and female participants participated, in addition to the third category in which 750 fighters of both genders participated. It is the community category for all ages and was allocated to university and school students. Children and the rest of society.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, witnessed part of the tournament and praised the efforts made by the Fujairah Adventure Center to bring out the first edition of the event in the best possible way, pointing out the great cooperation between the center and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
He stressed the need for children and school students to participate in such tournaments and events because of their great role and positive impact in enriching sports activities, expressing his hope for the success of other tournaments held during the current sports season.
In turn, Amr Zein El Din, Director of the Fujairah Adventure Center, confirmed the success of the first edition of the Arab Warrior Championship, due to the number of participants from different segments of society and professional racers.
Zain Al-Din considered the first edition an important milestone in the history of the tournaments hosted by Fujairah, pointing out that the participants expressed their happiness at being in the tournament that witnessed various challenges.
He noted that the tournament receives great interest annually from the concerned authorities, in addition to the increase in the number of participants and its ability to attract participants around the world, noting that the current edition witnessed the participation of 27 of the best players in the world.
In terms of results, in the professional category, Czech Paul Mardina came first, his compatriot Richard Cook came in second, and Emirati Mohammed Al Hassani came third.
In the citizens category, Obaid Al Nuaimi came in first place, Salah Al Suwaidi came in second place, and Salah Al Hammadi won third place.
At the professional women’s level, Russian Elissa Petrova came in first place, Danish Henrietta Bardom came in second, and Sabrina Dalalio from South Africa came in third.
In the women’s “amateur” category, Josephine came in first place, followed by Demi Lopez in second place, and Sarah Tueller came in third place. In the team category, the “Eva” team came in first place, the “Elissa” team came in second place, while the “Henertel” team from Dubai Police took third place.
