The Japanese ambassador to Cairo visits Naguib Mahfouz’s studio in Maspero… and praises relations with Egypt

The Japanese Ambassador to Cairo, Fumio Iwai, visited Naguib Mahfouz Studio and Hall on the 27th floor of the Maspero Building, where he was received by journalist Ahmed Al-Maslamani, Chairman of the National Media Authority, and in the presence of the Authority’s Secretary-General, Magdy Lashin, and a number of Maspero leaders.
The Japanese Ambassador praised – during The meeting, today, Sunday, touched on Egyptian-Japanese relations that have exceeded seventy years. He also praised the models of Egyptian-Japanese cooperation from the Opera House to Abu Al-Rish Hospital and the Museum of Civilization. He said: “Relations between Cairo and Tokyo have witnessed a major boom during the era of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.” For his part, Al-Maslamani praised the bilateral relations that bring together the two brotherly countries, Calling for discussion of Egyptian-Japanese cooperation in the media field.
