He said: "We are ready for constructive dialogue and clear communication on Russia’s position on many issues"
The envoy added that Russia hopes for a peaceful settlement, noting that respecting Russian interests and eliminating the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis should form the basis for just solutions.
Peace negotiations stopped
Peace negotiations between Moscow and Kiev stopped, despite the mediation efforts made by US President Donald Trump, who promised to end the conflict. In Ukraine quickly as soon as he returned to the White House last January.
Trump on Tuesday indefinitely postponed a meeting that was scheduled with Putin in Budapest, saying that he did not want pointless discussions, and the United States the next day imposed new sanctions on the Russian oil sector.
