Health Care showcases the services of the first highly specialized hospital with comprehensive health insurance

The General Authority for Health Care reviewed the services of the Women’s and Children’s Health House Hospital in Suez Governorate, following the visit of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to it. This comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s efforts to develop health services provided to citizens and expand the scope of application of the comprehensive health insurance system in the governorates of the first phase, ensuring the achievement of comprehensive health coverage in accordance with international quality standards.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Health Care, and supervisor, confirmed General of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, the Women and Children’s Health House Hospital is the first highly specialized hospital within the comprehensive health insurance system, explaining that it represents a qualitative leap in the level of women’s and children’s health services in the Suez Governorate, by providing a package of advanced medical services using the latest international technologies and modern equipment.

Dr. Al-Sobki added that the investment cost for developing and equipping the hospital It amounted to 870 million pounds, becoming one of the authority’s modern medical edifices, noting that the hospital serves more than 600,000 citizens residing in the Suez Governorate, and includes an integrated system of services that include obstetrics and gynecology departments, children, nurseries, intensive care, specialized operations, radiology, central laboratory, clinical pharmacy, central sterilization, and emergency departments, as well as an integrated building. For outpatient clinics, a nursing institute, modern training halls, and housing for medical and nursing staff.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki indicated that the hospital has so far provided nearly 200,000 medical and therapeutic services in the areas of women’s and children’s health, in accordance with the highest standards of quality and medical accreditation, explaining that the hospital is one of the main pillars of the authority’s hospital network in the Canal governorates, and contributes to raising the level of health care provided. To citizens through advanced specialized services and distinguished medical care based on the latest technological systems and digital transformation in health services.

The Chairman of the Authority pointed out that the future development plan for the hospital includes adding new units and services such as the gynecological imaging unit, an artificial insemination unit, and a dialysis unit for children, in order to enhance the hospital’s capabilities in providing integrated health care services, and achieving the highest rates of medical efficiency including It is in line with the goals of the Egyptian state to improve the health system and achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister visited the hospital as part of his inspection tour in the Suez Governorate, where he opened a number of development and service projects in the governorate. He was received and accompanied during his visit to the hospital by Dr. Hani Rashed, Vice President of the General Authority for Health Care, and Dr. Amir Al-Talwani, Director. The Executive Director of the Authority, Dr. Ahmed Shafiq, Director of the Health Care Authority Branch in Suez Governorate, and Dr. Mahmoud Fathi, General Director of the Women and Children’s Health House Hospital in Suez.
