Schubert: Preventing Ismaily’s relegation harmed the team and the Dervishes are in a real crisis
The journalist Ahmed Shubir criticized the difficult technical situation that the Ismaili club is experiencing during the current period, pointing out that the team is no longer the opponent that the clubs feared as it was in the past, but rather for many competitors it has become a gateway to achieving easy points in the Premier League championship.
During his talk on his radio program with Shubir on Radio ON Sport FM, Schubert stressed that Pharco’s first victory this season came at the expense of Al-Ismaily, which clearly reveals the extent of the decline that hit the team, although the fans had a glimmer of hopes after the victory over Haras Al-Hodoud, but those hopes were quickly dashed.
Schubert added that last season’s decision to cancel the relegation and save Ismaili leaving the Premier League was not in the club’s interest, explaining that a Dervishes fan assured him that relying on this campaign was the biggest mistake committed by the administration.
He continued by explaining that Ismaili had previously fallen to the lower division league, and was then able to regain its position among the seniors, considering that relegation is sometimes It represents an opportunity to rebuild the team and structure it correctly to ensure that it returns with greater strength.
