Nursing Speech "Madbouly" And 4 ministers to stop unaccredited academies for studying nursing

The General Nursing Union, headed by Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, sent an official letter to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Mohamed Gibran, Minister of Labor, regarding the spread of what are known as unaccredited private academies that offer fictitious rehabilitation programs. “Nursing Assistant” Or “specialized nursing”, in violation of the laws regulating the practice of the profession.
The union confirmed in its letter that the recent period has witnessed the emergence of a number of academies and private centers that announce through social networking sites and various advertising means the provision of training programs in nursing targeting those with certificates starting from preparatory school and above, claiming – Contrary to the truth – It grants certificates accredited by universities and colleges, and allows graduates to obtain a license to practice the nursing profession and an accredited union membership.
Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud stressed that these allegations are incorrect and in violation of the law, and that these entities do not have the legal right to offer such programs or grant any certificates or permits related to the profession. Nursing.
The head of the Nursing Syndicate explained that this situation has resulted in the spread of incorrect papers and licenses that are being exploited to employ unqualified individuals in a profession that is considered one of the most accurate and dangerous professions within the health system, which represents a direct danger to the lives of patients, and harms the image of the nursing profession and its professional body, in addition to allowing some private hospitals to rely on groups that are not scientifically qualified or Training, in a way that harms the safety of the health service provided to citizens.
Based on the union’s responsibility to protect the profession, raise its level, and maintain the efficiency and quality of nursing services, it called on the head of the nursing union to take several urgent measures, most notably stopping any courses in the field of nursing for non-graduates of nursing colleges and institutes, as well as stopping practical training within university hospitals for students affiliated with these non-academies. Approved.
She called on the head of the Nursing Syndicate, Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to issue clear instructions not to receive or train students from those centers and academies inside nursing colleges or university hospitals, as this represents a threat to national health security and endangers the lives of citizens. She also asked the Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, not to grant any permits or licenses to establish organized training centers. Courses or training programs in the field of nursing outside the official approved framework.
The General Nursing Syndicate attached to its letter a complete list of the academies and training centers that were monitored as fictitious and unaccredited entities, numbering 22 academies and training centers.
