Details of Benghazi hosting a global event in the sport of Arab professional boxing
Dr. Al-Hadi Al-Sudairi, President of the International Arab Boxing Federation, revealed the details of the Libyan city of Benghazi hosting the Omar Al-Mukhtar World Arab Professional Boxing Championship, which will be held during the period from November 26 to December 2, 2025.
Al-Sudairi indicated that the participants in the tournament are 46 world champions of various nationalities, in the largest tournament of its kind in the world, with the presence of a large number of Arab and foreign figures.
He also praised his support for the Libyan champions and his keenness to raise the flag of Libya in major Arab, African and international sporting forums, and the city of Benghazi has become a distinguished destination for hosting international championships, due to the security and stability it enjoys
