Giza Governor: Broadcasting the opening activities of the Grand Egyptian Museum within clubs and youth centers

Engineer Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, announced that the Youth and Sports Directorate in the governorate will broadcast the opening activities of the Grand Egyptian Museum within clubs and youth centers in various sectors, through 34 youth and sports bodies affiliated with 19 sub-departments, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, to provide citizens of all age groups with the opportunity to follow this global historical event that embodies the greatness of civilization. The governor explained that this initiative comes within the framework of the Giza Governorate’s keenness to share with citizens the atmosphere of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, as it is a unique global event awaited by the whole world, noting that coordination has been made with the Youth and Sports Directorate to provide display screens inside clubs and youth centers in various neighborhoods and centers to broadcast the opening activities directly, in a way that enhances national belonging and makes citizens a part of this moment. Al-Najjar confirmed that Giza Governorate is intensifying its preparations at all levels to receive the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is considered one of the largest cultural and tourism projects in the world, noting that the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, pays great attention to this global edifice that reflects the ancient Egyptian identity and highlights its history extending through the ages.

 

The governor indicated that the Youth and Sports Directorate In Giza, in coordination with youth centers and clubs, it has determined the locations of display screens in a number of areas, including: Al-Taawoun Club, Ghatati Youth Centers, Kafr Nassar, Al-Sisi, Kaabish, Al-Mansheya (Al-Haram Administration), Al-Munib Youth Center (south of Giza), Al-Saf Youth Center, Al-Barbul and Al-Kadaiya Youth Centers (Atfih), Imbaba Youth Center, the Youth Development Center in Wardan Village (Al-Qanater facility), and a youth center. Engineer Adel Al-Najjar concluded his statements by emphasizing that Giza Governorate continues to work hard to show the governorate in its best light during this global event by implementing development and beautification works and raising the efficiency of the roads and axes leading to the museum, in a way that reflects the honorable cultural image of Egypt before its guests from various countries of the world.
