"Death game".. A student suffocates his friend in a Jerusalem school
A video of two students in a school circulated on social media, in which one of them strangled the other in what is called “the game of silencing oneself.” Or “the game of death.”
The video, which shows a child fainting as a result of being accidentally strangled by his companion while playing, was said to have been taken in a school in the Lebanese city of Tripoli (north of the country). It sparked great controversy, and it was later revealed that it was in a school in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, east of Jerusalem.
One of the activists commented on the “X” platform: On the video, she said: “He saw the movement and wanted to implement it. He did not expect that you would reach this stage, but teach your children that anything you see on the websites applies to reality, it is all an act.”

But in any case, whether this video was in Lebanon or Jerusalem, it indicates that this dangerous game, which is based on holding the breath or pressing on the neck until unconsciousness, and which had caused deaths during the year 2022, has returned today to spread among teenagers with the aim of attracting views and achieving fame on the Internet.
This phenomenon is known globally as “Pass-Out”. Game" Or “choking game”, which depends on depriving the brain of oxygen for a short period in order to feel euphoric, but excessive holding of the breath leads to brain damage or death within minutes.
