Al Ain sits at the top with three wins in Ajman

The Al Ain team regained the top spot in the ADNOC Professional Football League after its great victory over Ajman 3-0, in the match that was held today, Thursday, in the seventh round. Al-Zaeem regained the top spot only 50 minutes after it temporarily went to Al-Wahda following the end of its match against Al-Nasr.
Al-Wahda had temporarily jumped to the lead by reaching point 17 following its dramatic victory over Al-Nasr 3-2, which put additional pressure on Al-Ain before entering the match against Ajman, but Matias Palacios’ early goal, which came after only 10 minutes, quickly returned his team to the lead and gave his teammates a great psychological advantage from the beginning, which later paved the way for the broad victory that secured the three points before the competition was suspended due to the international break.
The match witnessed a crowd of nearly three thousand fans, including about 1,700 Al Ain fans who continued to cheer throughout the match and celebrated their team’s return to the lead before the international break.
Al Ain scored through Matías Palacios in the 10th minute, and Kodjo Laba in the 60th minute, before Alejandro Kaku completed the hat-trick in the 81st minute.
As a result, Al Ain raised its score to 19 points at the top without losing, after achieving 6 victories and one draw, while Ajman’s score froze at 9 points after suffering its fourth loss this season.
