"Khadija and Yusuf" Desouk Club players are part of the Egyptian speedball team delegation to participate in the World Championship

The players Khadija Hani Al-Dafrawy and Youssef Mohamed Kamel, players of the Desouk Sports Club in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, are part of the Egyptian national team delegation, in the 36th World Speedball Championship for adults and juniors, held in the Indian capital, New Delhi. The tournament will be held from October 31 to November 7, 2025, and the Egyptian champions will compete with players from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Iraq, Kuwait, India, Palestine " Under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh. 

 

For his part, Dr. Ezzat Mahrous, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Kafr El-Sheikh, expressed his happiness at the joining of players Youssef Kamel Speed Solo for the men and Khadija El-Defrawy for the girls’ singles, players from the Desouk Sports Club, to the ranks of the Egyptian national team to participate in the tournament after the Egyptian Federation nominated them, against the backdrop of their victory. "Khadija" In first place in the first Speedball Federation Cup Championship for the junior stage, and “Youssef” won In second place in the national team qualifiers, pointing to the selection of Captain Ahmed Ali Majbari, son of the Desouq Club, to occupy the position of “senior coach.” With the Egyptian national team. 

Mahrous confirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, supports the sports champions in all sports to participate in major international tournaments and achieve distinguished results in the name of Egypt, appreciating the efforts of the Desouk Sports Club in training and sponsoring the champions of the game. The participation of the speed champions of the Desouk Sports Club comes under the supervision of Abdel Moneim Al-Kanani, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Sports, and Captain Imad Al-Habit, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors.
