Amr Fahmy: We seek to win the largest number of medals in the Egypt International Table Tennis Championship
Amr Fahmy, a member of the Board of Directors of the Table Tennis Federation and director of the Egypt International Table Tennis Championship for men and women, confirmed that the International Table Tennis Federation praised the organization of the tournament in Egypt, which is held from October 29 to November 1 in the Cairo International Stadium hall complex.
Amr Fahmy said in statements on the sidelines of the tournament: “The Egypt International Table Tennis Championship is held annually in Egypt, and this reflects the confidence of the International Federation in “Egypt and its organization.”
He added: “There are 150 male and female players in the tournament, and Egypt is participating with 84 players.”
Regarding the level of the Egyptian team participating in the tournament, he said: “Egypt is a pioneer in table tennis in Arab and African countries, and our goal is He won the largest number of medals in the tournament at all age levels.
He continued: “We received praise from the International Federation for the Egyptian organization of the tournament and the equipment being made at the highest level.”
Amr Fahmy revealed that Egypt will host a number of upcoming table tennis events. He said, “We will enter a camp from November 10 to 14 in the African and Asian Championships, a “joint camp for Paralympic table tennis,” in the Hassan Mustafa Hall. From the 15 to the 18 of the same month, there will be the Egypt International Paralympic Championship, and from the 20 to the 23 there will be the African Championship qualifying for the World Championships, which will be held in the Hassan Mustafa Hall. This reflects the confidence of the International Federation in Egypt and its organization of these tournaments. “.
He concluded: “There will be an organization of a tourist tour in the Grand Egyptian Museum for delegations coming to participate in those tournaments organized by Egypt.”
