Al-Ahly’s General Assembly authorizes the Board of Directors to discuss the budget
Counsel Zaki Shalkami, Chairman of the Judicial Committee supervising the Al-Ahly Club elections, confirmed the authorization of the Board of Directors to discuss the budget.
Shalkami said in television statements that the number of members of the General Assembly who registered their attendance at the meeting to discuss the agenda and final accounts was only 320 members.
He explained that the regulations stipulate that 50% of the members who cast their votes in the elections must be present to complete the quorum for the assembly meeting. The regular general assembly, which was not achieved.
Accordingly, it was decided to authorize the elected Board of Directors to discuss and approve all items on the agenda that have not been decided upon, while the budget will be sent to the competent administrative authority in preparation for referring it to the Central Auditing Organization for review in accordance with the established procedures.
