518 male and female horsemen participated in the two endurance qualifying races in the village of Boudheib

Abu Dhabi, 1st November / WAM / The Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation announced the participation of 518 male and female horsemen from various equestrian clubs and stables in the country, in the two endurance qualifying races today, Saturday, at the Boudheib International Endurance Village in the Seal.

The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the first race, 80 km long, was held in 3 stages with the participation of 209 male and female riders, 165 of whom finished the race successfully, while 44 exited because their horses did not pass the veterinary examination gates.

He explained that the second race was for a distance of 40 km (one stage), during which 309 male and female riders competed, with 273 of them succeeding in passing it, while 36 male and female riders were unable to complete it.

He noted that the season program at Boudheib Endurance Village includes long-distance championships (160 and 120 km), local and international qualifying races, in addition to categories for women, youth, juniors, and citizen owners of private stables.
