Launching the audio guide service at the Grand Egyptian Museum

 

In conjunction with the start of the Grand Egyptian Museum receiving visitors from the public today, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and with the celebration of the anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun, the museum announced the launch of the audio guide service as part of its modern services provided to visitors.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority, explained that the audio guide service provides visitors with a rich cognitive experience and an integrated journey within the exhibition halls, By introducing a selection of the most prominent artifacts housed in the museum, which contributes to enhancing visitors’ understanding of ancient Egyptian history and civilization in a modern and attractive way.

He pointed out that the audio guide is currently presented in three languages: Arabic, English, and Japanese, and during the coming period other languages will be added, including Italian, German, Spanish, French, Korean, and Chinese, before the end of 2025, as part of the museum’s endeavor to provide a global experience commensurate with its position as the largest museum dedicated to civilization. One in the world.
