Learn about the design of the Egyptian pavilion participating in the London Tourism Exchange

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, participates annually in the London International Tourism Exchange (WTM), which kicks off this year from November 4 to 6 in the British capital, London.
This year, the Ministry participates with a pavilion with an area of 1,225 square meters, in addition to 120 square meters on the Double Deck.
The pavilion is divided into two main spaces; The first part extends over an area of 400 square meters and includes a miniature model of one of King Tutankhamun’s halls in the Grand Egyptian Museum to celebrate the opening of the museum, to include 54 antique replicas of the Golden King’s possessions, the icon of the museum, and at the end there are pyramid-shaped screens to display promotional films about the Egyptian tourist destination and its diverse and different tourism products.
As for the second part, it extends over an area 825 square meters, and contains the main building consisting of two floors and has rooms for holding meetings with VIP visitors, and an area designated for providing drinks and light foods to visitors, in addition to 91 small suites for exhibitors. They have 50 suites for hotels and hotel facilities rooms, 40 suites for tourism companies, a room for travel and tourism companies and agencies, and a wing dedicated to the Egyptian airline Air Cairo.
The Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion also implements a number of accompanying promotional activities that are presented to visitors of the Egyptian pavilion, including hiring a harp musician to give musical performances over three days, and hiring a specialist to write the names of visitors to the pavilion in the language. Hieroglyphs on papyrus, in addition to holding a raffle for pavilion visitors and the winners receiving 20 free airline tickets, in coordination with Air Cairo.
