المملكة: “Preventing Mecca” enhances livestock breeders’ awareness of ways to prevent diseases
Implement The National Centerfor the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases”Protection” in the MeccaAl-Mukarramah held an awareness meeting entitled “Awareness that protects and service that advances.”
The aim of the meeting was to raise the level of livestock breeders’ awareness of ways to prevent diseases, and to introduce the services provided by the center through the new “Beneficiary Services Platform”.
The meeting, which was held at the Shuaiba Center in Bahrah Governorate, witnessed a review of the most prominent services provided by the center and the mechanisms for accessing them electronically.
The efforts made were also highlighted. To limit the spread of animal diseases, and explain the most important of these diseases and ways to prevent them, with the broad participation of livestock breeders and a number of branch specialists.
Enhancing awareness
The General Director of the “Waqa” branch in the Makkah region, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Saadi, who followed the meeting directly, confirmed the center’s keenness to enhance awareness among breeders.
He pointed out that these awareness programs contribute to raising the efficiency of disease prevention and control, stressing that “Weqa” is constantly striving to develop its services in a way that supports its goals in preserving livestock.
This meeting comes within the framework of “Weqa” recently launching its unified platform for beneficiaries “individuals and businesses”, which aims to facilitate the request for services for the prevention of plant pests and the control of animal diseases via the electronic link designated for that purpose.
