President of Kyrgyzstan: Egypt is the cradle of human civilization, and my visit to it is historic

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov described his visit to Egypt as an “important historical step,” noting that since his country’s independence, no Kyrgyz president has visited the African continent.

 

Japarov said, in his speech, during the activities of the Egypt-Kyrgyzstan Business Forum, held in Cairo, that during his visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum he was assured that Egypt is the cradle of human civilization. And the home of the greatest and most ancient cultural heritage in history, offering his warmest congratulations on the occasion of the opening of this great edifice, which commemorates the greatness of Egyptian history and human creativity throughout the ages.

He added that Kyrgyzstan seeks to develop its relations with Egypt in all areas of cooperation, expressing his happiness at signing today a number of important agreements in the fields of economy, agriculture, investment, energy, health care and security. He said: “I am certain that this step will raise bilateral relations to a new qualitative level that serves The interests of the two countries and their peoples.”

The Kyrgyz President expressed his admiration for the Egyptian development strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030, which achieved great achievements in various fields, especially in the economic field.

He added that Kyrgyzstan had adopted a national development program until 2030, which includes the implementation of major national projects, pointing to the signing of a bilateral agreement to establish a joint governmental committee between the two countries, to develop economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation, suggesting that the meeting be held. The first of this committee was in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

He stressed that his country pays special attention to expanding cooperation in the tourism sector and exchanging experiences, welcoming the establishment of joint projects in this field. He also expressed his country’s readiness to develop cooperation in the field of banking services based on the principles of Islamic finance in Kyrgyzstan.

The President of Kyrgyzstan pointed out that his country, as a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, supports the ongoing negotiations between Egypt and the Union to establish a trade zone. Free.

He said: “We are fully prepared to build a strong and sustainable partnership with Egypt based on cooperation, common interests and mutual benefit.”
