Mohamed Gibran, Minister of Labor, stressed in a speech delivered by Counselor Walid Abdel Razek, Director General of Trade Union Liaison at the Ministry of Labor, on behalf of the Minister, the Ministry of Labor’s keenness to implement the Egyptian policy towards digital transformation and electronic governance, the mechanization of its services to Egyptian workers and their union entities at different levels, and the holding of labor union elections in a manner befitting the new republic.
This came during the activities of the General Assembly conference. The Administrative and Social Services Union, headed by Hisham Farouk Al-Muhairi, Vice President of the Egyptian Workers’ Union, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Zaher, head of the Union of Cooperatives and former head of the Workers Union, representatives and members of the Board of Directors of the Workers Union, heads of trade unions, and Ahmed Abdullah, undersecretary of the Central Auditing Organization and head of the financial administration of unions and federations.
Counsel Walid Abdel Razek said that the Minister of Labor Mohamed Gibran issued Resolutions No. 133 and 213 for the current year regarding updating data on the levels of trade union organizations over a period of four months in preparation for holding the labor elections for the 2020-2030 trade union session.
Continued: The Ministry of Labor, in conjunction with the issuance of modernization decisions, organized awareness seminars for labor directorates to identify unified procedural concepts and models for updating data on levels of trade union organizations and data on applicable controls and overcoming procedural obstacles at levels of trade union organizations, in full coordination with the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions, local federations, and levels of trade union organizations.
He stressed that the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum is an event that goes beyond being a huge cultural project to become a message. Spiritual from the heart of Egypt to the conscience of humanity, given that this edifice reflects the depth of the personality that combined faith, science, spirit, mind, past, and future in one canvas of human creativity. He added that Egypt’s workers are the soldiers of production who They protect the homeland with their efforts, just as the soldiers protect it with their weapons, and they are the password in building the architectural masterpiece Al-Ghuraida, stressing that the union message of the Ministry of Labor is with the workers of Egypt, side by side and hand in hand with the General Union and all its union levels, together we can.
