Smouha turns the tables and eliminates Zamalek from Super Hand
In a result that many did not expect, the Egyptian Handball Super Cup witnessed a resounding surprise with the elimination of the Zamalek club from the semi-finals by the Smouha team.
The heated confrontation ended with the victory of the Alexandria team with a narrow and exciting score of 29 to 28 goals.
What is striking is that the coach of Smouha is the Zamalek star Hussein Zaki. Zaki succeeded in exploiting his knowledge of the characteristics of his former team’s players, to lead Smouha to the final match.
With this unexpected loss, Zamalek bids farewell to the tournament early, while Smouha guarantees its presence in the Super Final.
