The UN Security Council lifts sanctions on the Syrian president

Upload UN Security Council Sanctions imposed on Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday.
The resolution drafted by the United States on Thursday also lifted sanctions imposed on Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab.
The resolution received 14 votes in favour, while China abstained from voting.
